Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ development as a Physical Therapist for an Extended School Year (ESY) program near Lansdale, PA. Work one day per week in a school-based setting, providing your expertise to a small group of seven K-12 students across two nearby school sites. This contract position covers the summer session from July 6th to August 6th, with hours from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm—offering professionals a great way to make an impact with a flexible schedule.

Desired Background and Skills:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment preferred
• Understanding of IEPs and goals for diverse learners
• Ability to organize and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators and families
• Reliable transportation for travel between two school locations, 6 miles apart

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to K-12 students as outlined in IEPs
• Develop, implement, and document therapy plans
• Consult with teachers and parents regarding student progress and strategies for classroom involvement
• Coordinate schedules between two sites efficiently
• Maintain timely and accurate records using school/district documentation systems
• Foster a supportive, engaging atmosphere for all students
