We are seeking a skilled and energetic Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team every Friday. This role is perfect for a hygienist who enjoys working in a supportive, fast-paced setting with great hours and a fun team culture. You will work alongside a dental assistant running two hygiene columns and play a vital role in patient care, education, and infection control.

Pay

$40~$50 per hour

Requirements

• Basic life support
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Dentrix
• Eaglesoft
• Licensed dental hygienist
• Open Dental

Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
CPR and AED certification.
Ability to perform dental hygiene procedures competently and efficiently.
Strong communication skills focused on patient education and care.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented, energetic environment.
Familiarity with Dentrix dental software is helpful but not required.

Job Description

Administer prophylaxis (cleanings), scaling and root planing (SRP), and periodontal maintenance treatments.
Educate patients on effective oral health care practices and preventative measures.
Take digital dental X-rays as needed.
Perform perio charting and patient charting to monitor oral health.
Review patient medical histories for changes or concerns.
Apply Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) and topical fluoride treatments when indicated.
Maintain strict infection control protocols, including instrument sterilization.
Collaborate with the dental team, including dentists and assistants, to provide seamless patient care.

Shift & Schedule

Fridays: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Monday – Thursday: Office open 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (not part of this position)
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
