Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Hours per Week: Hours vary 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, rotating every 7th weekend. Located in the heart of Anderson, South Carolina. Department Information AnMed Medical Center’s acute care setting offers opportunities for growth by joining an experienced team and treating a variety of patients including orthopedics, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and general/medical surgical patients. As a staff clinician you are part of a team that works together to maximize outcomes for patients from adolescence to geriatrics through evidence‑based care. Duties & Responsibilities Demonstrates the ability to properly address the needs of patients in respect to assessment, treatment, and care, including obtaining and interpreting information in terms of the patient's medical, social history and age‑specific needs. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide a range of occupational therapy treatments. Qualifications Current licensure with the South Carolina State Board of Physical Therapy. Certification in CPR (basic life support) due within 90 days of hire and maintained on an ongoing basis. Mandatory RQI requirements will be completed every 90 days if employee uses RQI.
