We’re growing in Watertown, SD – and building something new! Dakotaland Manufacturing is looking for the right leader to help launch and lead a new weekend production shift at our Watertown, South Dakota location. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role and help shape the future of our operations as we continue to grow. We are searching for a hands‑on, energetic, people‑focused Weekend Shift Supervisor who thrives in fast‑paced manufacturing environments and knows how to motivate teams, drive results, and build a strong culture. Weekend Schedule Work 3 days per week. Tentative schedule 6:00 am – 6:30 pm (we are willing to let the right leader help determine the schedule) Three 12‑hour shifts Paid salary equivalent to 40 hours Greater flexibility and work‑life balance while leading a critical operation Opportunity Build and develop a team Help establish and grow a brand‑new shift Lead daily production operations and drive results Make a visible impact on a growing company Advance your leadership career with a company that invests in people and promotes from within What You’ll Be Responsible For Leading and supporting production employees to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals Coaching, mentoring, and developing employees while building a positive team culture Planning and assigning labor to meet production schedules and customer expectations Monitoring workflow, resolving production issues, and driving accountability on the floor Promoting and enforcing a strong safety culture Supporting continuous improvement initiatives including 5S, process improvements, and operational efficiency Managing performance, attendance, and employee engagement Communicating effectively across departments and leadership teams Helping create an environment where employees feel supported, challenged, and empowered to succeed What We’re Looking For Previous manufacturing leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and team‑oriented mindset Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Ability to adapt quickly and lead through change Experience with production scheduling, coaching employees, and driving operational performance is a plus Someone who leads by example and takes pride in developing people and building strong teams Culture (UPSCALE Philosophy) Understanding Customer Needs Perfect Quality Safety Culture Continuous Improvement All Employees Engaged & Empowered Leadership at All Levels Employee Health & Wellness Why Join Dakotaland Manufacturing?
