Assistant Property Manager Weinstein Properties, headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, owns and manages over 60 apartment communities across Virginia, North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, and Georgia. With a hand‑on approach to daily operations and a focus on customer experience, we are looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join our Nashville area team. Location & Schedule Multiple properties in Nashville – location preference flexible. Weekdays 9 a.m.–6 p.m.; Saturdays 9 a.m.–5 p.m. (rotational); Sundays closed. Compensation Hourly pay starting at $24/hour. Responsibilities Provide front‑line resident services and communicate effectively in challenging situations. Assist prospects: answer internet leads, phone calls, schedule appointments, and conduct community tours. Process leasing applications, prepare lease paperwork, collect security deposits, and coordinate lease signing. Offer customer service to residents: review renewals, handle notices to vacate, early termination, pet additions, transfers, and account inquiries. Coordinate with maintenance: walk apartments for inspections, monitor property needs, and follow up on work orders. Facilitate smooth move‑in and move‑out experiences, including processing move‑outs and security deposit dispositions. Manage rent collections, follow up on balances owed, and oversee resident activity planning and hosting. Lead and mentor the team, support training, and contribute to achieving team goals. Assist the Property Manager as needed. Qualifications Strong communication skills – attentive listener, confident, and warm in both in‑person and written interactions. Previous property management experience preferred but not required; solid management experience in customer service, sales, or hospitality acceptable. Some leadership experience is needed.
