We design and manufacture innovative, sustainable packaging components for cold-chain shipping of food and pharmaceutical products. Job Title Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Supervisor’s Title HR Manager Department HR Location Richmond, Virginia Job Description The HRBP will have responsibility for a wide range of human resources services in our manufacturing plants and will aid with projects and responsibilities in various locations when needed. The ideal candidate will have a background as an HR business partner and strong experience developing relationships, implementing compliant processes, and making sound decisions. This role requires a self‑starter, who can work autonomously with a high level of accountability. Essential Job Functions Provide and ensure efficient, day‑to‑day HR administration and operations in assigned facility Work closely with management and employees to maintain positive work relationships and morale, and foster engagement and retention. Serve as front‑line resource for responding to and solving employee concerns and questions Manage disciplinary procedures consistent with TemperPack’s progressive discipline system and seeks advice from HR Manager and HR Director on complex issues Thoroughly conduct investigations and determine appropriate resolution Provide managers and supervisors with HR policy guidance and interpretation Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies Manage leave and disability programs consistent with state/federal laws Manage and ensure the accurate filing of important documentation in employees’ personnel files Manage HRIS and ATS platforms Assist and support with the rollout of company HR initiatives Manage and update employee attendance records and track compliance with company policies regarding absences, tardiness, and leave Coordinate and facilitate performance management processes, ensuring timely documentation and consistent feedback Assist with employee engagement activities and events to promote a positive work culture and strengthen team morale Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required or similar professional experience. Extensive knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including payroll, benefits, employee relations, employment laws, recruiting, and compensation A minimum of 5 years of HRBP or HR Generalist experience, in a manufacturing company preferred Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing) in both English and Spanish is preferred.
