Front Desk Operator

Operates multi-line telephone switchboard console and routes calls appropriately. Greets all visitors in a kind, courteous, and professional manner. May perform clerical, and other related duties as required. Responsible for greeting all visitor arrivals and departures. Handles all contact with customers in a professional manner. Routes all incoming calls and trains relief operators. Open and date stamp incoming mail not personally addressed, and distribute as needed, if assigned by management. Responsible for the outgoing mail and maintenance of postage meter if assigned by management. Monitor incoming and outgoing faxes. Distribute incoming fax messages appropriately. Maintain front desk area in a neat and organized manner. Assist in monitoring office supply levels and availability, if assigned by management. Responsible for ensuring all out going Fed-Ex's are properly addressed and ready for daily pick-up. Perform all other duties as assigned by management. Should possess a High School diploma. Experience in an office front desk environment is preferred but not required.
