SUMMARY:

The Hunger Relief Specialist will be under the direction of the Program Coordinator and will assist with daily operations of all programs. Work hours include Monday Wednesday and Saturday from 7:15am to 3:45pm at Loaves and Fishes; and Tuesday and Thursday from 8am to 4:30pm at the Catholic Pastoral Center Casa Azafran FRC or McGruder FRC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

• Cleans and assists maintaining the Loaves and Fishes building including but not limited to kitchen dining hall and bathrooms.
• Regularly assists in supervising volunteer groups of all ages in multiple settings and programs.
• Communicates and regularly updates multiple community partners/agencies to best assist guests and clients.
• Maintains food pantry organization.
• Assists with Open Shop at Second Harvest.
• Data entry.
• Assists with managing volunteer calendars.
• Assists with inventory of supplies.
• Assists with loading and unloading supplies with the ability to lift 35 pounds.
• Able to coordinate the program without direction in the event the Program Coordinator is out.
• Maintains accurate client/program records regarding services provided according to Agency guidelines using the database(s) provided by the agency and within Agency timeframe.
• Actively participates in supervision sessions periodic team meetings and training as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
