Welder/FabricatorPROMAN Staffing is currently seeking Fabricators for our client in Batavia, IL within a growing fabrication department. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term placement for reliable and motivated candidates.Key Responsibilities:Operate machinery including saws, grinders, benders, and cuttersPerform cut pipe and sheet metal fabricationAssist with sandblasting and deburring processesComplete MIG welding, brazing, and soldering tasksHandle light materials and componentsRead and interpret basic drawings and measurementsUse power and hand tools safely and efficientlyMaintain a clean and organized work environmentSupport multiple areas within the fabrication department as neededRequirements:Mechanically inclined with machine operator experience preferredAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 45 lbs occasionallyBasic math skills and ability to read measurements/drawingsStrong attention to detail and fine motor skills (helpful)Flexibility to learn and perform multiple tasksReliable attendance and punctualityWhy Work With Us:Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potentialHands-on training and skill developmentSupportive team environment
