Accounts Payable Specialist

B&T USA is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions including accounts payable, corporate credit card transactions, and various other transactional issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive, review, and process invoices from vendors. Keep accurate records of all transactions. Utilize accounting software to handle accounts payable for different entities and vendors. Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices. Prepare check requests and ACH transactions. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors. Reconcile accounts and ensure all transactions are accounted for and properly posted. File, maintain, and distribute accounting documents, records, and reports. Maintain accrual and prepayment accounts ensuring accuracy. Reconcile inventory related invoices ensuring 3‑way match. Required Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Three or more years of experience in an Accounts Payable role required. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop or related accounting software. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and records. Ability to communicate clearly with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations. Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Work performed in a combination of office and warehouse environments. Job Type FT – Hourly On-Site Monday to Friday. May be required to work extended hours and/or weekends when needed to meet workload. Benefits Company contributes 100% for employee HMO medical option.
