Quality Associate 2nd Shift

ResponsibilityThe Quality Auditor is responsible for ensuring that automotive components and finished vehicles meet company, customer, and regulatory quality standards. This role involves inspecting products, auditing production processes, identifying defects, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment. The Quality Auditor plays a critical role in maintaining product integrity, reducing defects, and promoting a culture of quality, safety, and accountability on the production floor.Support (ATA) efforts to promote Corporate Social Responsibility, (CSR) and ensure activities are carried out in cooperation with G-TEKT CSR, and Corporate Governance initiatives and activities to ensure compliance in functional areas of responsibility. Support the Corporate Governance Policy of Austin Tri-Hawk Automotive and the Objectives of:Meeting challenges of changed legal and business environment.Enhancing the trust of ATA among customers, specificationsExperience with measurement tools and inspection equipment (Taper Scales, Calipers, Micrometers)Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and basic quality tools (5 Whys, associates on product quality, procedures and processesAssist with sorting tasks to verify quantities shipped to customersQuality is required to sort trucks if possibility of a miss shipmentUtilize fixtures and basic measuring deviceAssist Assembly Coordinator with educating and training of associates on proper Fixture usage.Complete all required inspections on the production floorPhysical Requirements and Work EnvironmentStand for long periods (8–12 hours)Ability to lift, carry, and stack parts (weight varies by product, often 10-40lbs)Lift up to 25–50 lbs. regularlyPerform repetitive
