PSC Manager - Hawthorne, CA

Natera seeks a PSC Manager to perform phlebotomy, manage patient service center operations, and oversee the phlebotomy program in Hawthorne, CA. The role combines clinical specimen collection with operational leadership, including potential supervision of additional phlebotomists as the center grows.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and finger sticks to collect blood specimens
• Verify test requisitions and patient identification against documentation
• Maintain specimen integrity using aseptic technique and track collections in company systems
• Oversee phlebotomy program operations and manage scheduling, vendor relationships, and staff training
• Monitor quality control, report KPIs biweekly, and escalate SPI, CAPA, or NCR issues to leadership

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience
• Current phlebotomy license if required by state
• HIPAA/PHI privacy and security compliance knowledge
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with laboratory procedures and quality control
