This role requires the ability to operate across multiple concurrent initiatives, influence without direct authority, translate strategic priorities into executable plans, and communicate effectively with both executive and technical stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Program Leadership & Execution: Lead complex, cross-functional programs from initiation through implementation, stabilization, and closeout. Establish program objectives, scope, workstreams, milestones, dependencies, governance, and success measures. 

• Cross-Functional Program Coordination : Coordinate activities across product, technology, infrastructure, cybersecurity, clinical applications, integrations, managed services, operations, commercial teams, and other business functions to drive integrated execution. 

• Strategic Alignment: Translate approved organizational priorities and leadership direction into structured program plans, milestones, workstreams, and accountable actions. Monitor program execution against approved objectives and communicate variances, risks, and dependencies to program sponsors and leadership. 

• Portfolio & Governance Management : Facilitate established governance processes for assigned programs, including operating cadences, decision forums, status reporting, issue escalation, and action tracking. Prepare materials and recommendations to support leadership review and decision-making. 

• Executive Reporting & Communication : Develop concise, decision-oriented reporting for senior leadership that communicates program progress, accomplishments, milestones, risks, dependencies, resource considerations, decisions required, and expected impacts. 

• Dependency Management: Identify and actively manage dependencies across projects, workstreams, functional teams, vendors, customers, and other enterprise initiatives. Ensure interdependencies are visible and addressed after they impact delivery. 

• Risk, Issue & Decision Management : Proactively identify program-level risks and issues, establish mitigation and recovery plans, maintain appropriate escalation paths, and facilitate timely leadership decisions. Maintain clear accountability for decisions and follow-through. 

• Stakeholder Management: Build productive relationships with executives, functional leaders, technical teams, customers, vendors, and strategic partners. Facilitate alignment on ownership, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and decision requirements. 

• Program Planning & Roadmap Management: Develop and maintain integrated program plans and roadmaps that connect individual projects and workstreams to broader strategic objectives and measurable outcomes. 

• Financial & Resource Coordination: Partner with program sponsors and functional leaders to track approved budgets, resource requirements, capacity constraints, and vendor commitments. Provide visibility into program financials and resource needs to support leadership decision-making. 

• Vendor & Partner Management: Coordinate third-party vendors and strategic partners supporting program objectives. Track commitments, deliverables, dependencies, contractual obligations, and performance. 

• Change Management & Adoption: Coordinate organizational readiness activities including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, implementation planning, and adoption measurement to support successful change. 

• Pilot & Innovation Management: Coordinate proofs of concept, pilots, and emerging technology initiatives, including defining objectives, success criteria, implementation requirements, measurement frameworks, and recommendations for broader deployment. 

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve program delivery effectiveness, reporting processes, stakeholder communication, and execution practices, and provide recommendations for consideration by leadership. 

• Benefits & Outcomes Tracking: Collaborate with program sponsors and stakeholders to document success measures for assigned initiatives. Monitor and report progress against established goals and communicate risks or barriers that may affect expected outcomes. 

EDUCATION  

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered. 

• Preferred Certifications: PMP, PgMP, Agile/Scrum certification, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant program/project management credentials. 

EXPERIENCE  

• 6+ years of progressive project or program management experience, including responsibility for complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups. 

• Experience managing technology-enabled business initiatives involving areas such as SaaS, cloud infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, data/integrations, digital products, or managed services. 

• Demonstrated experience working with senior executives and translating complex program information into concise, decision-oriented executive communications. 

• Proven ability to coordinate teams across multiple business and technical functions without relying on direct reporting authority. 

• Experience within healthcare, healthcare technology, digital health, or another highly regulated industry is strongly preferred. 

• Demonstrated experience coordinating external vendors, consultants, technology partners, and other third parties. 

• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or interconnected workstreams within a broader program or strategic portfolio. 

KNOWLEDGE  

• Program Management Methodologies: Strong understanding of program and project management disciplines, including waterfall, agile, hybrid delivery models, portfolio governance, and stage-gate approaches. 

• Program Management Tools: Proficiency with enterprise project and work management platforms such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Jira, Asana, or comparable solutions. 

• Enterprise Technology: Working knowledge of cloud platforms, SaaS solutions, enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, integrations, data, and digital technologies. 

• Healthcare Technology Environment: Understanding of healthcare technology environments, clinical operations, healthcare data, interoperability, and technology-enabled healthcare services is preferred. 

• Governance & Controls: Knowledge of program governance, risk management, change control, decision management, resource planning, financial tracking, and executive reporting. 

• Regulatory & Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with healthcare and technology compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and ISO 27001. 

• Business & Financial Acumen: Ability to understand business cases, budgets, resource investments, contractual commitments, ROI considerations, and the relationship between technology investments and business outcomes. 

• Continuous Improvement: Strong understanding of process improvement principles and a demonstrated interest in evolving program management practices as the organization scales.
