Inventory Clerk

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing warehouse and storage areas, and ensuring products are properly packed, labeled, and prepared for shipment or storage. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Packing accuracy and inventory organization are critical to the success of this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming inventory for accuracy and quality.

• Accurately record inventory transactions using inventory management systems.

• Organize products and materials within designated warehouse, storage, or inventory locations.

• Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.

• Ensure all packed products are secure, accurate, and meet customer or operational requirements.

• Conduct routine inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock audits.

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe storage areas at all times.

• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, discrepancies, or damaged goods.

• Assist with loading, unloading, and stocking inventory as needed.

• Follow company procedures for inventory control, warehouse organization, and workplace safety.

• Collaborate with warehouse, shipping, and operations teams to ensure efficient workflow.

• Identify opportunities to improve organization, storage utilization, and inventory accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, packing, or logistics preferred.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems preferred.

• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
