Senior Product Manager, Data Center Applications

The Senior Product Manager, Data Center Applications is responsible for defining and executing Fluke's datacenter growth strategy across critical infrastructure monitoring, electrical systems, network infrastructure, environmental monitoring, leak detection, power quality, battery monitoring, and software-enabled workflow solutions. This role will develop and commercialize solutions that improve reliability, uptime, efficiency, and operational visibility across enterprise, colocation, and hyperscale datacenter environments.The ideal candidate possesses deep domain expertise in datacenter operations and critical infrastructure, combining strong product management capabilities with a customer-centric mindset and strategic business acumen. The successful candidate will serve as a key voice of the customer, translating market needs into innovative hardware, software, and services solutions that drive sustainable growth and market leadership for Fluke.Primary ResponsibilitiesDefine strategy and execution plans for the datacenter portfolio across electrical infrastructure, network infrastructure, environmental monitoring, leak detection, power quality, battery systems, and software solutions.Own product lifecycle performance from concept through commercialization, growth, sustainment, and end-of-life, including revenue, margin, market share, and recurring revenue objectives.Develop and execute a global product vision and roadmap aligned with datacenter market trends and customer workflows across enterprise, colocation, and hyperscale environments.Drive new product development in close collaboration with Engineering, Commercial, Operations, Marketing, and Strategic Partner teams.Develop deep understanding of customer workflows spanning facilities, operations, reliability, maintenance, commissioning, and network teams.Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) research to identify unmet needs, market trends, and emerging technology opportunities.Identify opportunities in critical power infrastructure, battery monitoring, network validation, fiber testing, environmental monitoring, leak detection, thermal management, DCIM, and asset performance management.Establish business models, pricing strategies, service offerings, and lifecycle policies that maximize long-term business performance.Partner directly with strategic datacenter customers to co-develop solutions addressing operational reliability, efficiency, and uptime challenges.Support business development, technology partnerships, ecosystem development, and M&A activities related to the datacenter market.Serve as an internal and external thought leader on datacenter technologies, customer requirements, market trends, and competitive dynamics.Present product strategy, market insights, portfolio performance, and growth plans to executive leadership.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's Degree or MBA preferred.10+ years of Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, or related leadership experience.Minimum 5 years of experience supporting datacenter, cloud infrastructure, critical facilities, or enterprise network markets.Deep understanding of datacenter electrical infrastructure, including UPS systems, generators, switchgear, transformers, PDUs, battery systems, grounding, energy monitoring, and power quality.Strong knowledge of datacenter network infrastructure, including structured cabling, fiber optics, copper connectivity, physical layer testing, certification, troubleshooting, and network deployment architectures.Understanding of environmental monitoring, leak detection, thermal management, asset monitoring, DCIM, and operational reliability workflows.Experience working with enterprise, colocation, cloud, telecommunications, or hyperscale datacenter operators.Customer-obsessed with demonstrated experience conducting customer interviews, field research, VOC programs, and workflow analysis.Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate market intelligence into actionable product and growth strategies.Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional organizations in matrix environments.Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.Results-oriented with demonstrated success delivering measurable business outcomes.Preferred QualificationsElectrical Engineering degree with practical experience in datacenter critical infrastructure.Experience with electrical test equipment, network test equipment, monitoring platforms, or reliability software solutions.Familiarity with Uptime Institute, TIA-942, BICSI, IEEE, ASHRAE, and related datacenter standards.Experience managing portfolios that include hardware, software, services, and recurring revenue business models.Experience supporting M&A evaluations, partnership development, and adjacent market expansion initiatives.Fortive Corporation OverviewFortive's essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
