Desktop Support TechnicianLocation: Dallas, TX (Onsite, 5 days/week)Bill Rate: $54/hr — W2 candidates ONLY (no C2C/1099)Work Authorization: USC or Green Card ONLY — NO H1B for this roleLocation: Must be local to Dallas, TX or willing to be fully onsite 5 days/week — no remoteRole Overview: Provide on-site desktop support (Windows, O365, mobile, peripherals, laptops) for employees and contractors.Responsibilities:Resolve technical issues from incoming hardware/software incidents for onsite and remote usersProvide assistance with conference room technology (pre-meeting testing and in-meeting troubleshooting)Assist with device installation or moves (disconnect/reconnect), managed print setup and troubleshooting, mobile device configuration and troubleshootingDocument and track status of client inquiries, coordinate appropriate response, follow up to ensure client satisfactionExercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action, escalate as necessaryMust-Have Skills:Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools (Splunk, Aternity, NexThink) and ticketing applications (ServiceNow)Proficiency with computer software and hardwareAbility to troubleshoot client problems by identifying symptoms, reviewing documentation, asking smart questions, consulting technical partners as neededAbility to use remote access tools to interact with client's computer, search through files and install software drivers to resolve issuesNice-to-Have:Experience or familiarity using modern programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, and APIs to gather device information, proactively address compliance issues, automate administrative tasks, and provide on-demand troubleshooting scriptsConference room / AV support experienceAvoid candidates with unstable/jumpy employment history.Additional requirements:HARD REQUIREMENT — Work Authorization: USC or Green Card.
