Med Imaging Specialist III Cardiac Cath Lab

Hourly Wage Estimate: $47.02 - $70.49 / hour. Job Summary The Medical Imaging Specialist III assumes responsibility for assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac invasive procedures on patients ranging in age from neonatal to geriatric. The role also involves assisting in the training and education of personnel. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program and a member in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Specialty certification within primary discipline (Cardiovascular, Peripheral or Electrophysiology) within 36 months of hire/transfer. Minimum of one (1) year previous experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory within the prior three (3) years preferred. Minimum of two (2) years current experience in an acute care facility as a radiology technician in a specialty department (MRI, IR, CT Scan, etc.). Current licensure as an ARRT with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Radiology Technologists must complete credentialing in related specialty field within 36 months of hire/transfer). ARRT’s must also possess a State of Nevada Radiology Technologist License or State of Nevada Radiology. Current BLS required. ACLS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer.
