Why You Should Apply $65,000 to $75,000 base salary Hybrid schedule offering flexibility and work life balance Immediate hiring need with an opportunity to start quickly Opportunity to work with an established legal team and experienced professionals Stable, professional environment with long-term career potential High visibility role working directly with attorneys and accounting leadership Opportunity to strengthen billing processes and make a meaningful impact What You'll Be Doing as a Billing Specialist Prepare, review, and process monthly client invoices accurately and efficiently Manage the full legal billing cycle, including pre-bills, revisions, and final invoice submission Partner directly with attorneys and legal staff to review billing entries and resolve discrepancies Prepare and submit electronic invoices through client eBilling platforms Review time entries, billing rates, and client-specific billing guidelines Monitor billing deadlines and ensure timely invoice processing Research and resolve billing inquiries, adjustments, and rejected invoices Maintain accurate client billing records and supporting documentation Collaborate with Accounting and Finance to support billing reconciliations and reporting Identify opportunities to improve billing accuracy, efficiency, and internal processes What You Bring as a Legal Billing Specialist Associate's or Bachelor's degree required Minimum 3 years of legal billing experience required Experience working in a law firm or legal services environment strongly preferred Hands-on experience with electronic billing and client billing guidelines Familiarity with legal billing software and eBilling platforms Strong understanding of timekeeping, invoice preparation, and billing adjustments Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with attorneys Proactive, dependable, and collaborative personality What You Need To Know Compensation: $65,000 to $75,000 Schedule: Hybrid Employment Type: Full Time, Direct Hire Start Date: ASAP Requirement: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree and 3+ Years of Legal Billing Experience #J-18808-Ljbffr CB Partners, LLC
