Utility Worker

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team. This individual will support a building or a facility by doing things like changing light bulbs, cleaning spills, emptying trash and light mechanical maintenance. They will also do regular housekeeping to keep areas clean and safe. The Utility Worker will report safety hazards and larger maintenance problems to the customer. The Utility Worker must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

Ideal candidates will possess a positive, can-do attitude and understand the importance of building strong client partnerships through excellent communication. We are looking for someone who adapts quickly to change and is able to provide win-win solutions for both the client and ABM.

Location: Cleveland, OH Hourly Rate: $15.00 (Paid Weekly) Schedule: 7AM3PM Monday through Friday And 12PM8PM Tuesday through Saturday

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces • Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met • Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces • Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor • Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed • Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning roles is a plus • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
