Business Development Representative

About the Role

We're looking for a Business Development Representative who will take the lead in generating new business and reconnecting with past customers.

Your mission is to bring fresh opportunities into our sales pipeline while helping local businesses improve their visibility and achieve their goals.

You'll spend your days identifying prospects, reaching out by phone and in person, following up on marketing-generated leads, and building relationships within the local business community.

Compensation: This is a base salary plus commission position. What You'll Do

• Reignite dormant customer relationships by reaching out to previous clients who haven't done business with us in 12+ months and uncover new opportunities.
• Prospect for new business by researching local companies, visiting businesses, networking, and making outbound calls.
• Build relationships with business owners and decision-makers to understand their needs.
• Schedule appointments and collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals and solutions.
• Follow up on marketing leads and provide feedback to improve future campaigns.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, meetings, and sales activities in our CRM.
• Represent our company with professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude in every customer interaction.

What We're Looking For

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confident and persistent, with the ability to make outbound calls and in-person visits.
• Organized and consistent with follow-up.
• A curious problem solver who listens first and sells second.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve measurable results.
• Experience in business development, outside sales, account management, or B2B sales preferred.
• Experience in the sign industry, construction services, or business marketing is a plus.

Compensation: $55,000–$70,000 per year Base + Commission. Earn what you bring in No Cap on earnings.
