Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Virginia Physical Therapist license required prior to start. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required. Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred, including treatment of orthopedic, neurological, geriatric, and post-operative populations. Experience with outpatient equipment such as cryotherapy, heating pads, antigravity devices, TENS units, and parallel bars preferred. Open to new graduates; experience preferred but not required. Must be located at least 50 miles from the facility at time of placement (travel candidates only). ITO interviews with recruiter; hiring manager conducts second interview. Assignment Details Facility Type: Hospital-affiliated Outpatient Clinic. Setting: Outpatient rehabilitation attached to hospital campus. Shift: Day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Weekend: Opportunity to pick up a weekend shift to trade for a weekday off may be available. Patient Population: Geriatric ambulatory outpatients, orthopedics, neuro, joint replacements, post-stroke, balance disorders. Team Composition: Onsite full-time PT, supervisor, OT, speech therapist, and rehab tech support. Equipment: Cryotherapy, heating pads, antigravity devices, TENS units, parallel bars common to outpatient practice. Travel Requirement: Travel candidates only; must meet distance requirement from facility. Employment Model: Travel assignment with temp-to-perm possibility.
