We are an established independent automotive repair shop serving the Mishawaka/South Bend area. We are looking for an experienced  B-Level Automotive Technician who can independently handle most general repair and maintenance work and contribute to a productive team environment.

This is a good fit for a technician who is strong mechanically, can diagnose common vehicle concerns, and wants steady work with room to grow.

Responsibilities

• Perform brake, steering, suspension, and maintenance repairs
• Diagnose common mechanical and drivability concerns
• Perform heating and air-conditioning repairs
• Service starting, charging, cooling, and fuel systems
• Complete tune-ups and preventative maintenance
• Perform tires, alignments, and related services
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections
• Document findings and recommended repairs
• Communicate additional repair needs to the service desk
• Complete work efficiently and accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Protect customer vehicles and property
• Minimize comebacks through quality workmanship

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred
• Ability to independently perform most general mechanical repairs
• Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• ASE certifications preferred but not required
• Own professional hand tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong attendance and work ethic
• Team-oriented attitude
