We are a full‐service Accounting & Tax firm providing professional and personalized services to individuals and business clients. Our team works extensively with QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and Lacerte Tax Preparation software to deliver accurate, timely, and high‐quality work.
We’re looking for a Bookkeeping & Tax Associate who has a foundation in bookkeeping and is eager to grow into a broader accounting and tax role. This position is ideal for someone who is detail‐oriented, organized, and motivated to learn our firm’s processes.
What You’ll Do
Bookkeeping & Client Support
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain accurate books using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
- Assist with monthly and year‐end financial statements
- Support payroll, sales tax filings, and general compliance tasks
- Help clients with bookkeeping questions and workflow improvements
- Learn firm procedures and gradually take on more advanced responsibilities
Tax Support
- Assist in preparing individual and business tax returns
- Help organize tax documents and maintain compliance with deadlines
- Support the team with basic tax‐related tasks (training provided)
- Assist with IRS and state notice responses as needed
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong communication and client‐service skills
- EA or CTEC‐Registered Tax Preparer is a plus, but not required
- Spanish bilingual ability is a plus
