Sap Materials Management Consultant

• Work very closely with Supply Chain and internal IT operations team to understand the business requirements and then partner closely with IT development teams and design solutions.

• Understand customer problems and anticipates their needs; identifies client issues and approaches for determining potential solutions.

• Build proofs-of-concept (POC) for potential new solutions and technology.

• Create and present functional and technical design including data analysis to business team, and seek feedback to influence solution design and approach.

• Document functional business requirements, process flow diagrams, and business cases.

• Facilitate review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives.

• Lead UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff.

• Preparation of user documentation and training documentation as necessary.

• Demonstrate business knowledge and expertise to drive business process improvements.

Skills and Experience

• Working knowledge on SAP MM and PP/PM.

• Strong understanding in production and procurement master data such as material master, BOM, routing, production version, and work center.

• Strong experience in maintenance order and production order processing and required configuration setup.

• Experience in inventory management.

• Should have a good experience in configuration of Org structure, Master data, Purchasing, Pricing, and Account Determination, PR/PO Release strategy process, Outputs & Forms, Inventory Management, Logistic Invoice Verification, and Physical Inventory areas.

• Must be experienced in designing and deploying special procurement scenarios like subcontracting, stock transport orders, and consignment process.
