Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing:

• The Big Stuff: Troubleshooting and maintaining injection molding machines, conveyors, auxiliary equipment, water chillers, grinders, and assembly gear.

• The Essentials: Keeping air compressors, motors, gearboxes, and exhaust fans running smoothly.

• Facility Upkeep: Handling light electrical and basic facility plumbing (toilets, faucets). Note: For the highly complex HVAC or massive jobs, we call in the contractors—you aren't doing it alone.

• Advanced Diagnostics: Troubleshoot complex electrical faults, hydraulic leaks, and pneumatic failures on heavy machinery to minimize production downtime.

• Blueprint Reading: Interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and fluid power diagrams to efficiently diagnose system issues.

• Component Rebuilding: Rebuild or replace worn parts like pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, and gearboxes.

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
