Sr. Epic Analyst

Full‑time Sr. Epic Analyst, Clinical Pathology We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Sr. Epic Analyst to lead the implementation and support of Epic Beaker (CP) for Clinical Pathology within our Health System. Core Responsibilities Collaborate with key stakeholders, end-users, and the application team to optimize the application’s configuration, function, and access. Serve as the primary support contact for application end‑users. Initiate the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application. Initiate all phases of testing and the documentation of workflow design. Perform analysis of information technology in clinical work processes and validate the impact on workflow. Initiate the identification of issues and guide the work to resolve them. Support junior staff members in the evaluation and resolution of service tickets, identification and implementation of application changes, retrieval of requested data, and execution of day‑to‑day operations. Collaborate with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies. Work with stakeholders, the business community, and end users to ensure the application meets UHealth’s business/clinical needs. Participate in on‑call rotations, support, and attend applicable committees. Maintain regular communication with team members, including participating in weekly project team meetings. Review the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership. Remain knowledgeable about UHealth’s policies, procedures, and business operations. Adhere to University and unit‑level policies and procedures and safeguard University assets. Department Specific Functions Provide oversight and leadership to Associate Clinical Analysts and Clinical Analysts on the team. Initiate the implementation, build, and modification of the application. Collaborate with key stakeholders, end‑users, and the application team to optimize configuration, function, and access. Support junior staff members in day‑to‑day operations and resolving application issues. Core Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Minimum of five years of experience, preferably in a healthcare or healthcare‑related organization. Certification in a relevant specialty or field; Epic Beaker (CP) preferred. Familiarity with lab workflows, regulatory requirements, integration points with other Epic modules, and patient experience preferred. Experience in clinical pathology and lab practices preferred. Previous Epic Beaker CP implementation experience and certification preferred. Experience in operational, project management, and organizational skills. Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary. Proficiency with computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office). Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.
