Our client, in the Automotive Industry is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department. In this role, you will safely assemble and weld automotive components while maintaining high standards for quality, productivity, and safety.
Job Title: Welder - Automotive
Location: Auburn Hills
Pay Range: $21.00 to $23.00/Hr
What’s the Job?
- Perform MIG, TIG, Stick and/or ARC welding operations.
- Set up and adjust welding equipment.
- Read blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions.
- Inspect welds and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate hand and power tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment.
- Identify and report quality, material, or equipment issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
What’s Needed?
- 1–3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Automotive manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Ability to read blueprints and welding specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Welding certification or technical training preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50LBs
