Salary: $30-$32/ hr

Underwater Mechanix Services (UMX) is seeking an organized, proactive Construction Operations Coordinator to support our marine construction and commercial diving operations. This role coordinates field schedules and travel, tracks certifications and base access, maintains project documentation, and assists with field recruitment. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, follows through, and works accurately in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with Project Managers and Operations teams to communicate weekly schedule to field personnel.
• Travel Arrangements: Sourcing and tracking accommodations, flights, and rental vehicles.
• Field Personnel Certifications: Monitoring and scheduling certifications such as physicals, CPR, First Aid, O2 Provider, OSHA certifications, Rigging, Signaling, and other job-specific certifications.
• Field Personnel Base Access: Prepare, submit, and track base access request forms.
• Responsible for maintaining contract documents.
  
• Assist with the recruitment process, specifically the phone screening phase for field personnel positions such as commercial divers, construction laborers, crane operators, etc.
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum two years of experience in construction operations support, construction administration, project coordination, field coordination, or a related role.
• Experience coordinating administrative and logistical needs across multiple active construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage changing schedules, competing priorities, and time-sensitive requests.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Experience supporting federal, municipal, marine, heavy civil, or industrial construction projects is strongly preferred.
• Experience coordinating employee travel, certifications, onboarding, and recruitment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative, and consistent follow-through.
