ADMISSIONS COORDINATOR
Job Summary
Avir at Angle is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. As an Admissions Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and efficient admissions process for our patients. Responsibilities
Coordinate the intake process for new patients, including scheduling appointments, gathering necessary documents, and updating patient records.
Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, and communicate with insurance companies as needed.
Assist patients and families with completing admissions paperwork and answer questions about the admissions process.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions for patients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient admissions and discharges.
Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to patient admissions.
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and referral sources.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
2-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a willingness to learn and grow.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
