- Performing thorough patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic testing, and creating personalized treatment plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues, either independently or in collaboration with a physician
- Informing patients and their families about preventive care, wellness strategies, and chronic disease management
- Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your scope of practice
- Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care oversight
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate continuous and comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Missouri
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Robust clinical knowledge paired with a nurturing approach
- Outstanding communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Flexibility within rapid-paced and patient-centric settings
- Familiarity with EMR systems and confidence in telehealth technologies
