Classroom teaching experience. Qualifications Required: Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Criminal Justice; Classroom teaching experience. Preferred: PhD and prior university teaching experience. Dual-credit teaching experience. Blackboard experience. Primary Responsibilities SRSU seeks qualified, adjunct/part-time instructors to teach dual-enrollment students enrolled in freshman– and sophomore-level university courses in Criminal Justice. Teach in-person courses at a variety of days and times Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material Use a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines Evaluates students to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and informs students in a timely manner of their progress Maintains professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community. Position is security sensitive. Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
