Overview LoPour & Associates DDS Smiles by Design is seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our long-established, patient-centered dental practice. We are a modern family and cosmetic dental office that values teamwork, professionalism, kindness, and excellence in patient care. Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in attention to detail, and is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. This is a full-time job averaging 35 hours per week, with a 4-day workweek (Monday through Thursday). Knowledge of and ability to work with Dentrix Dental Software is required for this position. We require all job applicants to have at least 1 year of experience with Dentrix Dental Software to be considered. You can find out more information about our office online at our website: What We Offer Supportive and team-focused work environment Modern technology and updated clinical systems Opportunity for professional growth and continuing education Competitive pay based on experience Benefits package available 4-day work week Ethical business practices Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper infection control protocols are followed Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment Take digital radiographs and intraoral images Perform chairside assisting using four-handed dentistry techniques Maintain accurate patient records, health history, and charting Enter treatment plans per dentist Educate patients regarding treatment and oral health Assist with impressions, temporary crowns, scanning, and other expanded duties Monitor inventory and help maintain organized clinical areas Schedule patient appointments Ensure a positive and welcoming patient experience Support team members and help maintain a smooth daily flow Qualifications Dental Assisting Experience required Dentrix Dental Software proficiency is required Strong communication and interpersonal skills required Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset required Ability to multitask and stay organized is required Professional appearance and demeanor #J-18808-Ljbffr LoPour & Associates DDS
