Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Supervising Dentist, the Dentist delivers dental care, including preventive care, to patients at the state correctional facility. Participates in performance management activities to continuously improve the Dental Program. May delegate appropriate levels of responsibility to the Supervising Dental Assistant, Dental Assistant, and Dental Hygienist and is responsible for the quality of their work. Makes decisions to maintain order and supervisory oversight, ensuring safety of persons and property. Minimum Requirements Refer to the Class Specification for minimum qualifications.
