This position will have a strong focus on supporting the HR team’s efforts with recruiting, selecting and onboarding of individuals as well as assisting with special projects.This internship will be during the fall semester (September - December 2026) and the schedule and number of hours will be determined based on the selected individual's class schedule.**What you’ll do:*** Assists with the recruiting process in collaboration with the HR Generalist team by: Posting and removing job advertisements on job boards, searching for and identifying qualified candidates, screening candidate applications and resumes, and organizing and conducting interviews in-person, by phone and or by video with selected candidates.* Assists with coordinating and attending recruiting events such as job fairs at select LMCU locations.* Assists in preparing and sending offer and rejection letters or emails to candidates.* Assist in onboarding new hires, new hire paperwork maintenance, and inputting new hires into Workday.* Assists with HR-related reports and projects.* Adhere to and champion our core values of curious minds, collaborative hearts, and continuous excellence.**What you’ll bring:*** Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field of study.* Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 or above preferred.* Ability to learn new systems quickly such as Workday.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to handle sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information.**What you’ll get:*** All Employees: weekly pay and retirement savings options.* Full-Time Employees: comprehensive health coverage including medical (with prescription), dental, vision, HSA match, paid parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.* To see a full list of our benefit offerings, check out this helpful guide!**Have additional questions about the role?
