Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) in this position provides direct patient care across multiple departments, including Medical/Surgical, Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, and ICU, based on experience and competency. They float between units to meet organizational needs, manage admissions and discharges, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care. Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered care aligned with department standards, delegate tasks, and serve as a team leader in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Contribute to care planning, ongoing assessments, and achievement of patient outcomes. Participate in mentorship, professional development, and clinical growth programs. Qualifications & Skills Must have a current RN license in New York, graduate from an accredited nursing program, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; ongoing education and certification support are offered.
