Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Long Term Care (LTC) setting in Gunnison, Colorado. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care and oversight to residents requiring skilled nursing and long-term support.

The primary purpose of this position is to assist and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities during your assigned shift, ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained for our patient population. You will play a crucial role in upholding clinical standards and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities within the facility during the assigned tour of duty.
• Ensure all nursing activities are conducted in strict accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to implement and maintain facility policies and procedures.
• Oversee the provision of direct patient care, ensuring adherence to care plans and promoting resident well-being.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided, making adjustments as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for residents and staff.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long Term Care (LTC) setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
