About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to provide unified clinical oversight for its rapidly expanding primary care ecosystem. The CMO will be the senior clinical voice, accountable for advancing clinical performance, physician engagement, and value-based outcomes across a large and diverse network. This role is pivotal in setting and maintaining evidence-based standards and care models, leading the reduction of clinical variability, and ensuring the organization's value-based strategy is embraced and executed by all physicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care, with a focus on community infrastructure, and a proven track record in leading high-performing value-based care programs. The CMO must be a strategic and tactical leader, capable of influencing behavior change and holding peers accountable to clinical standards. Candidates for the CMO position at the company should be MD or DO with board certification in a relevant primary care discipline, and a minimum of 10 years of clinical practice, including 5-7 years in senior clinical leadership. The role requires a leader with a deep understanding of value-based care economics, including total cost of care, MLR, and quality programs, and the ability to drive change across a large network of independent and affiliated providers. The successful candidate will be a direct, accountable, and data-grounded leader, with a passion for innovation and transformation in healthcare. Experience in MSO, capitation, and shared savings constructs is essential, as is a strong background in clinical pathway design, evidence-based standardization, and clinical analytics. The CMO must be energized by growth and ambiguity, and genuinely believe in physician-led, clinically integrated models.
