Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations by reviewing patient histories and performing physical assessments to determine optimal treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Explain evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, actively involving them in the goal-setting process.
• Implement and demonstrate proficiency in evidence-based treatment protocols, adapting them in response to patient presentations and changes in health status, while complying with organizational procedures.
• Consult with fellow healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach when needed, documenting any changes in patient conditions and altering care plans as necessary.
• Execute thorough discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, including evaluations, daily notes, and interim progress updates.
• Manage time effectively to meet departmental productivity expectations, maintain an organized schedule, and arrive punctually for meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work closely with a varied patient demographic, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid DPT license in the state of Florida.
• Certifications including the American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.

Preferred Experience
