Warehouse Manager - Moving Services

An established moving and relocation company in Manhattan, NY is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics coordination. This role is critical to ensuring seamless relocations while maintaining operational efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership experience within moving, storage, or relocation environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch for relocation projects
• Manage warehouse staff, drivers, and crew scheduling to ensure operational efficiency
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for household goods (HHG) and commercial relocations
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and security of customer goods and company equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
• Develop and enforce warehouse safety protocols, OSHA compliance, and operational procedures
• Monitor fleet equipment, storage materials, and warehouse maintenance needs
• Collaborate with operations, customer service, and sales teams to support move planning and execution
• Optimize warehouse layout and storage utilization for maximum efficiency
• Oversee quality assurance for packing, crating, and shipment preparation
• Manage vendor relationships for warehouse supplies and equipment services
• Analyze KPIs, operational costs, and performance metrics to improve profitability and service quality

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven warehouse management experience within the moving and relocation sector
• Leadership experience managing warehouse teams, logistics staff, and operational workflows
• Proficiency with inventory management systems, logistics software, and reporting tools
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, warehouse safety standards, and compliance requirements
