Job Requirements Key Responsibilities Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written). Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for a variety of positions. Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, networking, referrals, community outreach, and direct recruiting efforts. Conduct candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate qualifications and fit. Maintain and manage candidate pipelines utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting databases. Build relationships with local schools, trade programs, workforce development agencies, and community organizations to create talent pipelines. Coordinate and attend job fairs, hiring events, and recruitment outreach activities. Collaborate with hiring managers and clients to understand staffing requirements and develop recruitment plans. Prepare employment documentation and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires. Conduct reference checks, background screenings, and employment verifications as required. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Track recruiting metrics and provide reporting on hiring activity, candidate flow, and workforce trends. Support employee retention initiatives through regular communication and follow-up with employees and clients. Assist with employee relations matters and workforce management activities as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of recruiting, staffing, human resources, or talent acquisition experience preferred. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Strong understanding of recruiting best practices and candidate sourcing techniques. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and recruiting software. Knowledge of employment laws, hiring practices, onboarding procedures, and employee relations. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams. Experience recruiting for skilled trades, industrial, construction, manufacturing, shipyard, or workforce staffing positions is highly preferred. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment. Preferred Skills Social media recruiting and digital talent sourcing.
