We are seeking a detail-oriented Label Coordinator to support manufacturing operations by coordinating, producing, maintaining, and controlling labels used throughout the organization. This role is responsible for ensuring labels are accurate, current, and readily available to support production, shipping, quality, and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

• Coordinate and fulfill label printing requests from various departments.
• Print serial number, product identification, barcode, and other production-related labels.
• Verify label content, part numbers, revisions, specifications, and formatting prior to release.
• Maintain and control electronic label templates and label documentation.
• Manage label revisions and ensure obsolete versions are removed from circulation.
• Review requested label changes for accuracy and collaborate with departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain records of label revisions, approvals, and controlled documents.
• Ensure labels meet company, customer, and quality requirements.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of label stock, printer ribbons, and related supplies.
• Operate and perform basic troubleshooting of label printers and associated equipment.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Shipping, IT, and other teams to resolve label-related issues.
• Support additional administrative and operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Required

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Basic computer proficiency with the ability to manage electronic files and databases.
• Ability to understand and follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests while maintaining accuracy.

Preferred

• Previous experience with label printing, document control, inventory control, or manufacturing support.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with label printing software such as LabelView, CodeSoft, or similar programs.
• Experience with barcode labels and barcode verification processes.
• Knowledge of revision-controlled documentation and engineering change processes.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
• Familiarity with ISO-regulated or quality-driven manufacturing environments.
