Lead Cable Technician

Pay : $22-28/HR

Position Summary:

Anistar is seeking Cable Technicians for a long term opportunity to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables.

The ideal candidate will under general supervision, maintain a highly analytical and problem solving mindset while working as a team player. Candidates will gain experience in running, testing, and terminating low voltage equipment for large data center projects.

Job Responsibilities :

Pulling and routing CAT5e or CAT6 cable in a new construction environment
Pulling and installation of fiber optic cables
Installing support structures (ladder rack, fiber tray, basket tray)
Installation of Hot Aisle Containment systems (HACs)
Must be comfortable working from scissor/boom lifts

The ideal candidate will possess the following :

1+ years' experience installing basket tray and cable tray
Ownership of basic telecom tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.
Must be open to working Monday-Saturday up to 60 hours per week
Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC Standards.
