Our model is designed to meet patients where they are—delivering high-quality, evidence-based care through a seamless, coordinated experience.We are seeking a Telehealth Primary Care Physician to join our growing clinical network on a contract (1099) basis. This role is designed for a physician who is comfortable practicing across the full spectrum of primary care in a virtual environment. You will support patients through various stages of care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and care coordination. The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable working within an evolving care model as we continue to expand our services.What You'll DoDeliver virtual primary care visits via video and other telehealth modalitiesEvaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of adult acute and chronic conditionsOrder and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic testsPrescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment plansProvide patient education and clinical guidanceCoordinate care with specialists, care coordinators, and external providers as neededSupport patients across the continuum of care, from initial consultation through follow-upDocument accurately and efficiently in Athena EMR and internal systemsAdhere to all telehealth regulations, prescribing guidelines, and state-specific requirementsEscalate care appropriately based on clinical needQualificationsMD or DO from an accredited institutionBoard-certified in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineActive, unrestricted DEA licenseActive, unrestricted medical licenses in multiple U.S. states (5+ strongly preferred)Eligible for or participating in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact preferred3+ years of post-residency clinical experience in primary care or related fieldsStrong clinical judgment and ability to manage a wide range of patient needsComfort practicing independently in a virtual care settingExcellent communication skills and strong virtual bedside mannerProficiency with EHR systems (Athena experience preferred)Preferred ExperiencePrior telehealth or virtual care experienceExperience managing adult patients across preventive, acute, and chronic careComfort working in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environmentExperience collaborating with multidisciplinary care teamsMultistate licensure across high-volume statesWhat Success Looks LikeHigh-quality, efficient clinical care delivered in a virtual settingStrong patient satisfaction and engagementSafe, compliant practice across multiple state jurisdictionsEffective collaboration with clinical and operational teamsAdaptability as care models and services evolveContract DetailsIndependent contractor (1099) roleFlexible scheduling based on availability and patient demandFully remoteCompensation structure to be discussed during the interview processPhysicians must maintain active licensure in the states where care is deliveredWhy Bastion HealthFlexible, remote clinical work with control over your scheduleOpportunity to practice across a broad clinical scope in a modern care modelCollaborative, mission-driven teamAbility to expand your impact across multiple states
