Accounting Manager (Hybrid)

The Accounting Manager will help lead and focus on AI implementation and automation projects while also supporting accounting-related activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis of the period-end close. Responsibilities: Lead process improvement initiatives, including automation of close activities, template standardization, and workflow optimization to improve efficiency and accuracy. Support the identification, evaluation, and implementation of AI-driven solutions and intelligent automation tools to streamline accounting processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and reduce manual effort. Partner with cross-functional teams to leverage data analytics, predictive insights, and emerging technologies to improve financial operations and decision-making. Review assigned areas from the period-end financial close process, including recording and reviewing journal entries, reviewing expense accruals, and performing financial analysis. Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations within established deadlines. Assist business partners in understanding accounting activities and financial results. Approve or perform various operational tasks, such as cash fundings and settlement of intercompany receivables and payables. Review and/or prepare various ad hoc analyses as needed. Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary. Minimum Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in accounting and/or finance CPA or MBA preferred 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field with experience in public accounting being a strong preference Experience leading or supporting AI, robotic process automation (RPA), business intelligence, or digital transformation projects within accounting or finance functions.
