Pharmacist

The Retail Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care and services in a retail setting. This role involves dispensing medications, counseling patients on proper medication use, ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations, and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes. The pharmacist must maintain accurate records and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and pharmacy documentation.
• Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of medications.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy.
• Administer vaccinations as required and maintain vaccination records.
• Use pharmacy software systems to process prescriptions and manage workflow.

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience.
• Vaccination certification at the time of submission.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and medication therapies.
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.

• Experience with RX30 pharmacy system.

• No weekend or holiday shifts required.
• Ability to work varied shifts between 7:00am and 8:00pm.

• 40 hours per week with varied shifts.
• Typical shifts are approximately 8.5 hours, with options for longer shifts if desired.
