Hotel Sales Manager

Description

We're looking for a hands-on, hunter-minded Sales Manager to grow room revenue at Comfort Suites Greenville Airport. This is a field-sales role, not a desk job. You'll spend a real share of your week in front of local businesses, manufacturers, training programs, and group decision-makers across the Upstate, building a base of negotiated and repeat business.

You'll own the property's direct sales pipeline, from prospecting through contracting and rooming lists, and you'll work closely with the GM and ownership on rate strategy and competitive positioning.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outside B2B sales with a record of prospecting and closing new accounts, not just working inbound leads. Hotel sales experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable negotiating rates and contracts and weighing volume against rate.
• Self-directed and organized. You'll run your own calendar and pipeline.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local sales calls.
• Available for occasional evening or weekend events.

Nice to have: select-service hotel experience (Choice, Hilton, Marriott, IHG), familiarity with STR reports and a hotel PMS (Choice Advantage), and relationships in the Upstate business community. We'll train the right seller on the hotel side.
