Overnight Distribution Associate

$21.50 hourly Sunday through Thursday night shift! Great benefits 401k match, health savings account employer contributions, etc!

This facility is located in Austell, GA! Empire Distributors Inc, a leading beverage distributor is now hiring an overnight distribution associate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• This person will pull orders, stock, store, and distribute inventory and products within the warehouse. This person will also load trucks for next day delivery.
• Utilizes computerized inventory systems to include SAP and KEA.
• Reads schedules, orders and other requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Transfers inventory lines to vehicles for next day deliveries.
• Replenishes inventory lines as needed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for stock items and places inventory on vehicles. Sorts and stores perishable goods in refrigerated areas.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Opens bales, crates, and other containers. Repacks containers as necessary.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Assist with counting of inventory.
• Cleans and maintains warehouse daily according to clean up specifications as directed by team lead and management.
• Other duties as assigned by the night manager, supervisor, and lead.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Forklift certificate - Must have the ability to receive and sustain a license to drive a forklift.

Computer Skills

• Basic computer skills.
