About the Role

Mid-City is looking for a highly organized, hands-on Production Operations Associate to help keep our custom apparel production moving smoothly from receiving through final shipment.

This role sits at the center of our day-to-day production workflow and works closely with both the Production and Sales teams. You'll help manage incoming product, prepare orders for production, track jobs through the production schedule, perform quality control, and make sure completed orders are packed and shipped accurately and on time.

We're looking for someone who is organized, communicative, comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and willing to jump in wherever needed to keep things moving.

What You'll Do

• Receive incoming garments, products, and materials and verify shipments for accuracy
• Organize and prep orders for screen printing and other decoration methods
• Help manage the day-to-day production schedule and track jobs through each stage of production
• Communicate production status, timing, issues, and potential delays with the Sales team
• Coordinate samples and ensure they are properly tracked and routed for review
• Perform quality control on completed orders, checking decoration, placement, garment accuracy, quantities, and overall quality
• Prepare completed orders for shipping or customer pickup
• Maintain organized production, receiving, staging and office areas
• Identify potential issues before they impact production timelines or customer deliveries
• Assist with inventory counts, order reconciliation, and other operational needs as needed
• Travel between our Sussex and Hartland locations occasionally to support production and order movement

What We're Looking For

You don't necessarily need years of apparel production experience. We're looking for someone who is:

• Highly organized and able to keep track of many moving parts
• A strong communicator who is comfortable working across Production and Sales
• Detail-oriented with a strong eye for quality and accuracy
• Able to prioritize and adjust quickly in a fast-moving production environment
• Dependable and comfortable taking ownership of tasks from start to finish
• Hands-on and willing to help wherever needed
• Comfortable learning new systems, processes, and production methods
• Able to work independently while also being a strong team player

Experience in apparel, production, warehouse operations, fulfillment, shipping, or a similar environment is helpful, but we're open to training the right person.

This is a full-time, on-site position that will flex between our Sussex facility and Hartland office as necessary. 

Compensation: Competitive and based on experience
