Shift Hours: 5:00AM - 1:30PM, hours may vary depending on operations.Duties and Responsibilities:Understands and follows all safety rules and precautions necessary for working with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical apparatusDeals with complex factors and makes decisions based on conclusions and findingsInstalls and repairs various electrical equipment, including generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units and conduit systems. Works with blueprints, drawings, layouts, verbal instructions and other specificationsUses different welding equipment (arc, acetylene, brazing, and flame cutting) for lay out and fitting, including making jigs and fixturesUses electricians' hand tools and measuring/testing equipmentDiagnoses and corrects trouble in the electrical system or equipment, applying standard computations related to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipmentPerforms visual and mechanical inspections to maintain machinery in good condition ensuring the production of finished quality products to order specificationsFollows the preventive maintenance program established by the company and conducts equipment inspections, taking preventative action when necessaryPerforms minor and major repairs on buildingsNotifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipmentProvides on-the-job direction to new maintenance mechanics and others assisting in maintenance workContributes to continuous improvement efforts in work areaEnsure compliance of applicable Safety Standards and proceduresTroubleshoot and repair electrical equipmentExecute equipment repair proceduresEnsure good housekeeping in work areasEnter equipment repair history and close out work ordersUpdate repair procedures if neededMay be assigned additional projects or dutiesSite Address: 1326 Paddock Pl., Woodland, CA 95776This is a position with the potential overtime.
