Senior Accountant

Kforce has a client seeking to hire a Senior Accountant in Plainview, New York (NY). Responsibilities Review revenues and expenses for accuracy while examining general ledger postings and rent rolls. Coordinate with Receivable/Payable personnel to ensure timely posting for all transactions. Prepare supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts and P&L accounts. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 4+ years of public or private accounting experience with residential real estate exposure preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Detail‑oriented, analytical, problem solving, and strong work ethic. Ultimate professionalism with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced deadline‑driven environment while managing multiple tasks. Compensation The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law. This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
